Dr. Sakellariou offers in-office anesthesia services across an array of dental specialties. He has provided thousands of anesthetics for patients of all ages and he teaches the future generation of anesthesiologists as an assistant professor at a major academic center in Boston. Dr. Sakellariou also holds a DMD and specializes in administering general anesthesia and sedation to pediatric dental and oral surgery patients. He enjoys working with new dentists, taking special care of children and adults with special needs.
Dentists who prefer not to acquire an anesthesia facility permit may refer their patients to Dr. Sakellariou to provide care at one of our affiliated dental clinics.

Dr. Anastasios “Tasos” Sakellariou
Dr. Anastasios “Tasos” Sakellariou
Board certified anesthesiologist specializing in anesthesia for pediatric and adult dental and oral surgery.
Dr. Anastasios Sakellariou is a clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology, critical care and pain medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine. He received his medical and dental degrees from the University of Athens, Greece. He then completed his General Surgery internship and Anesthesiology residency at Boston Medical Center, the busiest level I trauma Center in the Northeast. During his residency, he was trained by leaders in the field of pediatric anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr Sakellariou also completed his fellowship in interventional pain management at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School. Being one of the few anesthesiologists in Boston having Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training and a doctorate in Dental Medicine, he has an advantage of better understanding the unique considerations of the dental and oral surgery patient who is treated in the dental office.
